Pionus

   The genus Pionus consists of seven species of parrot. most can be kept as pet and the Blue headed Pionus is the most common. They are rising in popularity as a pet because of their personality and small size, many say that they are calmer than Amazons. According to IUCN red list, all the species of Pionus are Least Concern but their population is decreasing. You can find Pionus parrots for sale here. The Speckle faced Pionus and the Red billed Pionus are almost never kept as pets.
