How do parrots(and all birds) make sound?

Birds are unlike mammals in that they do not use their Larynix to make sound, they use their Syrinx. In other words, they do no use vocal cords. Mammals do not have this ability, we use vocal cords. Some birds, not parrots, but some birds can even make two sounds at once since they have two windpipes(Their Bronchi). Here is a model but it is not completely accurate.
