4. The Hyacinth Macaw is the biggest parrot in the world, although they are not the heaviest. The heaviest parrots are Kakapos.
5. The Spix's Macaw was the main character of the popular animated movie, Rio. They are extinct in the wild (about 50 to 100 in captivity currently) but they are making a comeback.
